Couldn't disagree more on Foxfarm. I use Pro-mix some too ( along with Foxfarm) but if Pro-Mix is all you use, then its going to need amended along the way, and amended carefully. For a noob, they're MUCH better off with Foxfarm straight out of the bag cut with some perlite and they wont have to...

Its not hard. But if you dont put a bit of study time into it, it wont do well. I imagine novices probably have the biggest problem with proper lighting.

They say the newer sythetics work great. Don't give them a clear sample, they're liable not to accept it.

What I'm kinda liking is a few fresh leaves from my current indoor grow put in each jar. It sucks the moisture right out of the leaves very quick it seems.

Probably this... And it being your first grow its a very typical mistake. I'd back way off the nutes for awhile. The Fox Farm Trio does have some give to it but even it can burn if it gets too much. Don't know for sure what medium your using ( Is it Foxfarm soil too ?)

I had to do that almost right away. I trusted a very few and one was a relative. They thought it mean free supply any time you want. Explaining that its hardly "free" became a hassle to me so I told everybody I gave it up, it was just easier that way. None offered to pay my electric bill thats...

Yeah whats up here ? I assume since your in the outdoor section your talking about planting outside ? Or are you just putting together a plan for this coming spring/summer ?

Now this here....this is what I really wanted to know. I dont have the experience with large outdoor raised plants and I just didnt know about it hanging for a long period of time. Now I know if it was the hot summer it wouldnt work, but in a fairly steady very cold environment how that would fare.

Well well.... I was just offered a job. Wish I could rent one of those spinners somewhere. I should call the local rent-all huh and ask if they have one ? :)
