FFOF is one of the best out of the bag soils for growing MJ there is. You just dont add any nutes for the first few weeks.

Thats the way to go if your growing inside in most places. I've seen very few windowsill grows produce much more than some popcorn buds. If you can permanently grow them outside thats different but if they have to come inside, they need help.

It doesnt work for my situation but many folks prefer to run reg seeds believing that the females from the reg seeds may tend to run more stable than feminized seeds with a less likelihood to hermie during flower.

I'd go ahead and fire up that 600. I have 2 400's and I wish they were 600's heat issues aside.

You just have that kind of luck. If I bought a pack of reg seeds, they'd all be males after I vegged 'em for 2 months.

I'm no outdoor grower ( wish I could try ) but to me that plant doesnt have a lot of growth on it to begin with. The need the leaves for energy. I wouldnt cut anything from that plant. It sure doesnt have an over-abundance of growth now.

I had a buddy over at Grass City that had a White Rhino grow and he had a blast with that. Big yielder and nice frosty buds. Good luck with that. Should be a good choice for ya.

When I'm fixing a 5 gallon pot its 3 parts soil and 1 part perlite. Sometimes even 2 parts soil to 1 part perlite. I got one of those big industrial size sacks of perlite from an Agway store.

If you have to keep them zipped up tight due to light leak issues, then yeah, they can be a real bitch. Sealed hoods or cool tubes are almost a must. On the other hand, I've read here in these forums of guys running 1,000 watt light in tents and still managing the heat issues. I guess it can be...
