, thinking about hps for next grow... growman, how many weeks in flowering are your plants?

Nope my big one is 6'tall with the pot included and she stopped growing 4 weeks ago, and the reason shes so big is that shes a 100% sativa, and also if you use the cfl's corrctly they wont stretch.

Space isn't an issue really, and they are just bagseed.

The hole is bigger than the fan but ive sealed it arround the fan, im prob going to have to fit a decent extractor fan at some point and some ducting

Thanks, the temps were arround 80 untill i added these 4 new bulbs, the room is oblong and i had 1 hood at 1 end above my big sativa, and the other hood at the other end of the room. but due to lack of hight the hoods are bang next to each other now, in that corner with all those cfl's arround...

Yea thats the only thing i think it could be, maybe because the stem is so thin it just picked a bulb to lean to and did that#?? but ive never heard of this before, and thats right about the light coming out of the sides of the bulbs, and its not overkill you can never have enough cfl lights i...

no don't do that i did a simular thing with takeaway tubs on my cffls, and it burned the shit out of my plant, acts like tinfoil and causes hotspots..

How far are the bulbs appart from each other? maybe it the change of light at a young stage made it fuk up a little? i really don't know tho, it should of grown upwards paerfectly, strange..

Yup thats the right thing to do, and it will definatley sort its self out as it gets used to the new lights

So whats likely happen to my 5' sativa which is in the corner where all the heat is, the one surrounded by all the bulbs, temps about 86 -88, shes got about 2 - 3 weeks left before harvest, will it effect my buds/yield?

they wont, the extra bulbs were added today which has pushed the temps up

bet its not a brite as my room is lol, theres now 20 in there lol

The buds are looking great, when she was 5 week in i was worried as they didn't look that big, but in this last 3 weeks they have grown alot, think i got about 2 weeks left maybe 3, so hopefully they will get massive ha ha there must be about 20 or so decent bud stems on her and the main cola is...
