Ill follow you till you harvest dw mate. I dont think there is alot of uk help on here as it is mainly based in the us and climates are very different.

1st may is the perfect time. ive been growing in the uk for a few years now and never had problems with a few late frosts which i never recall any frosts past may...;-)

Another idea. Grow in pots,cut the bottoms off and sit them on a bed or a raised bed if you like pots. Mine outgrew 150ltr of soil & they still had 4-5 weeks of flowering left...Go big
