I Dont think its too much if i read it correctly your going to run 2 1000watters per 4x8 which is 1k per 4x4 right?? I grow in a 4x8 tent with 2 1000watters and it rocks..... If you are use to soil id stick with it......Hydro can be very unforgiving....You might be better off doing the majority...

Yes ive been saying the same thing for 2 years now.......Even people at hydro stores dont understand that you are still using the same amout of PG&e when you slow the fan down and the extra power is disapated off..... Ive been telling people this for long time now and i still see people telling...

No i think you will have problems......You need atleast 1 4inch inline fan and you need to connect ducting from that fan to the hole in the ceilling then you shold connect more ducting to the other side of the fan and connect that to the grow hood..... Now you will have proper ventilation...

Ya i love tents there so user friendly and they make everything SOOOO much easyer...... Are they light proof well not to the extent a room with walls and drywall would be but they are more then light proof enough to get the job done...... In cheap tents you can usually see light poking through...

just because you dont see the need now dosent mean you wont have the need later....If you are paying the guy to come in and wire it then i would have him put aleast two more outlets in there just in case.....Just like with the bigger fan its usually better to have more then you need espicially...

im not sure about this "water heater ballst and timer stuff hes speaking of" i dont know anyone who uses water heater anything for anything grow related..... Id just use regular grow equipment if it was me

ok one light =9.5 amps .. 8" fan 1.75 amps... how abou small oscilating fans figure 1.5 amp for small fans... so right there you are almost at 13 amps..... so you would want atleast a 20amp breaker....But if you run 240volt then you would cut that number in half.....But remember not everything...

also with these big fans noise can be a very real issue...... One good thing about bigger fans is you can slow them down to the speed of a smaller fan but it will run more quite.... let me give you an example....If i have a 4inch fan running full blast its about 150 cfm and its pretty load at...

i use a cheap "speedster" controller its like 25 bucks and you plug your fan into the controller then plug the controller in the outlet......You can then manually turn up or down your fan...... Only thing about those cheap fan controllers is when you turn it down you are still using the same...
