i totally agree with the pruning. I think that you need to do that so that all of the energy goes to the top of the plant and the light can get in there. too much foliage is bad.

i think that they are cfls, not sure what the watts or any of that are but pretty sure its full spectrum and there are 3 of them. The hood does raise to 24 in and then i can remove it and raise it even more if i need to. I have grown all types of herbs and salad greens with it and they grow...

thanks for the feedback! the hood is as low as it will go but it is made for spouting any kind of seeds. i know it does not look like it but the cfls are actually only an inch away from my seedy babies. is this right?

mine are master kush, my very first grow. man my brain felt like it was going to explode with all of the research i did. lol

coolness, thanks bud, Yah i did notice that the stem does look good, i have my set up sitting on a side table with an ocilating fan underneath it on high, so its getting a lot of breeze to strengthen it.

ok good so the first set of leaves curling under like that is normal? i'm not normal so anything that is does'nt look like it. lol

I am probably just paranoid but is there something wrong with my little baby? Its just a new little sprout but the 1 set is really curling over and under and I thought that the 2nd set was supposed to be bigger but they are tiny. any help please........
