most nutrient suppliers have some sort of feeding schedule on their site. the back of the bottle is usually just a general application. as you should be diluting your nutes in early weeks of each stage, and working your way up.

ive used a few odd shaped containers. never really seen a difference though. i think i would prefer square pots in a space limited situation. gives you an extra inch or 2, while maintaining the same capacity. other than that... i'd go with whatever's cheaper. (round in my experiences)

general rule is 1 gallon per month of grow time.

Most well known breeders stabilize the plants, so there is little chance of hermie if you keep the conditions right. i have 2 feminized strains in flower right now. barneys farm g13 haze, and dinafem super silver. no signs of hermie, and they have been pretty mistreated (hydro issues)

about the only way to do that, unless you have a big ass garage, or are doing outdoor/greenhouse is to 12/12 from seed. which is what I will be doing as soon as I order my Green Thai. 14 weeks of flower, wowza.

could be the strains you ordered? high demand, low quantities? i ordered some well known strains, but nothing that is REALLY sought after. either way, not saying its any excuse, 3 weeks should be the max wait(if its to the US), shipped to your door.
