    Weird/interesting question

You have to cut them first, the roots will stop the colours from absorbing. FDD did this as an experiment a while back and it does work.

Thanks, but unfortunately they dont ship overseas and I'm in Australia, and the only one I've seen on ebay was a few days ago. There's a shit load of other digital ones but most are in Hong Kong and I dont trust the quality. Might just have to bite the bullet and get a new one, AU$85 which is...

Interesting read itsgrowinglikeaweed.:peace: Has anyone got a recommendation on digital PH testers, or what are the best to use, I have 1 for measuring Pond Water which is what I tested my run off water with, it's a liquid 1, add 4 drops to a vial and match the colour chart to get PH readings. PH Problem Need Help Fast

Cool, that's what I think I will do. That's 6 x 16 litre pots = 96 litres. If I flush 3 times the pot size thats 288 litres. My brita filter does 1 litre at a time, then PH adjust and lugg it all upstairs. Damn, going to take me all day. But I can't see any other way around it. Thanks all for...

    PH Problem Need Help Fast

What is confusing? I said I'm growing in soil as organic as I can, not hydro, and I tested the run off water which is PH 5 after watering with PH 7 filtered water. Not sure why you are confused and think I'm growing hydro.:peace:

    PH Problem Need Help Fast

I water my plants with Brita filtered tap water which has always been bang on 7 PH and so I have never had this problem before. My plants are White Queen 5 weeks into 12/12 and grown in soil as organic as I can, but recently the leaves started looking strange, so I tested my water and it's PH6...

    Miracle Gro Leaf Shine??

Isn't that just to make your plants look nicer, like a waxy coating? If so I wouldn't put it on anything I'm going to inhale.:peace:

    Humidity Domes Yes or No?

Why would you do that? Plants need good air flow to grow strong and healthy. Domes are for clones.:joint:

Is this light Sufficient for Vegg?

I bought 3 of them on ebay for US$30 each. NEW as well. Theyr'e OK but you will need more than 1 for what you have planned. When they get too big start using 1 of the 1000 watters. I had 3 of them in a 5 x 2 1/2 foot closet but wasn't too impressed, so I switched to a 6ooW MH and my plants...

HELP! My leaves are still falling off! Flowering (Pics)

Looks like a classic case of lack of disolved oxygen, in other words overwatering. Let the soil dry out a little between watering, feel the weight of the pot to tell.:hump:

Why are my leaf's curling downward?

Do you have an oscilating fan, it doesn't look like you do, It's very important to help strengthen the stems and leaves and to keep fresh air circulating.

Should I turn off lights 36 hours before harvest?

I have heard a lot of people say to do this for 72 hours, but one breeder (Seedism) reccomends total darkness for 5 days to bring out the flavour. Can't say it works or not personally. I guess you would need to try it with 1 plant and do a Blind tasting to see for sure.:peace:
