Wow, not only are you following in my footsteps, you're also stepping in a lot of the shit I stepped in along the way. LOL 1st it was the Ph problem. Then the K def. And now you've graduated on to the moldy portion of the adventure. Been there done that..... JRP: "My concern is that I've read...

seedling leaves turning down! whats wrong (pic) HELP

I did not say that vermiculite "drains water". I said "A better answer to over watering is perlite and/or vermiculite." Vermiculite also holds air and improves overall soil quality and texture. I'm sorry if you miss-understood.

Nice, way to grow. Whenever I discover a problem, I always feel a lot better when I figure out what caused it. Even if i havn't quite solved it yet. Harvesting knowledge during the grow is as important as harvesting buds at the end of the grow. At least for now. ;) That's how I roll anyway.

Date: Aug 10, 2006 4:05 PM Roland A. Duby showed this article from a 1998 Cannabis Culture magazine: Pot goes to the dogs I am from Yellowknife, and I once had the experience of running a dog team and caring for about 50 dogs. We often had the odd litter that developed a disease called...

The short bus LOL. I know some folks that even the short bus was too big for 'em. They had to pick them up in a little yellow chevette! LMAO

Looks normal to me. A hermie would have YELLOW pollen sacks and they would be in small clusters. I see normal looking trichome encrusted calyaxes. I could show you the same thing(s) on my plants. Keep on keepin on!

Ok well watering twice a week and feeding every other water is pretty much equall to watering once a week and feeding every water. You'll only get PH problems if you fertilize too much. If your plants are using the ferts up then they won't be hanging around in your soil raising the ph. If you...

After what I've learned about how these plants prefer dryness to wetness I'm going to have to say that I dont think you want to be watering them twice a week. Even in really good draining soil. I use to do the rocks on the bottom thing but I dont anymore. More than anything it just takes away...

K def. confirmed! My lime green plants have improved since feeding them some potassium (3-2-6). Ok, the mother I'm flowering which has turned lime green hasn't improved much (yet) but It's not getting worse like it was. And the clone of that plant which was turning lime green too is now dark...

    Adventures of a Grow Addict

Thanks for stopping by and for the advise. I'm considering a re-veg attemp on a plant I have flowering now and I would like to keep the genetics. All previous cloning attempts where done with vegging females. I'm looking for a different strain to clone now anyway. Besides always taking 4 weeks...

    Adventures of a Grow Addict

Well after a whole lotta tryin I finally got a handle on cloning this plant. It must just be a difficult strain to clone. I've cloned this plant 4 times using 4 different methods and each time it has taken at least 4 weeks to get roots. Mom has been flowering for 4 weeks now. And this is the 1st...

I like your investigative reasoning here. Thats exactly what I've been looking into. K sources. Greensand sounds great but its too slow release for containers IMO better for ourdoor gardens. I like the wood ash. But I dont really have access to any. (damn concrete jungle!) Anyway how much to...

Very interesting comments. I can confirm that "A low pH in the drainage water means a high buildup of salts". Or at least thats one possible cause for low PH. But its the first time I've heard of lime green leaves being caused by overfeeding. jrp did not feed at all at the end of veg and has...

74 days 12/12 for the one on the left, 4 weeks for the potassium starved one on the right. Fade to yellow? This one I think has a bad K def.

I think that 4-6 inches is too close. But I dont think that that is your problem. I do wonder about "bleaching" of leaves from being too close to an HID. Usually when a plant is too close to the light, you have heat stress. I dont see any signs of heat stress on your plants. But even in perfect...

    my 1st grow

Air flows just like water. Reduce the amount of bends in your ducting, and try not to make the air flow UPHILL. I would raise this light to decrease the extreme bend you have here. I keep my light all the way up and adjust my plants. Also your seedlings are stretched already, they need to be...
