People normally count flowering from the first sign of flowers. I just made the same mistake myself thinking I was 5 weeks in but I'm not!

Tea has a PH of around 5. In soil the PH should be around 6.5 for cannabis. If your going to use teabags in there keep an eye on the PH levels. I'd like to know how that one goes, not sure how it will affect your soil PH. You can say you've given it the British touch ;) Good Luck.

Hmm, if the trichs are developing on one plant already and not on another would that not suggest that maybe the one with them developing is a faster flowering strain? I have no idea of the strains in there, all different bag seeds.

Mine is also made of wood, and when we build houses we attach all the wires to wood along the walls. The back plate of the fuse box is normally wood too. So I wouldn't worry about that. If you mean a fir as in dry rot, then that shouldn't happen so long as your keeping your room well ventilated.
