thanks hashlover, i'm going to buy some of those AN nutes you mentioned and measure the ppm levels on my lr2 plants. i live out on long island in new york, are you near Greenwich?

no reason hashlover, i used it only once and i think it seemed a pretty good level, in the veg stage. i've just heard people talking about it how you need to calibrate, or else its not accurate. The leaves don't seem to be getting any worse, so i guess i'm just lazy about checking them lol.

oh, hash lover, for nutes i used ff big bloom and some biotone (I think its called, for higher N levels) on the bagseed plants with the yellowed leaves. in my new system, i got some new powdered nutes General Hydroponics MaxiGro 10-5-14 which i'm giving a try with the lr2 seedlings.

I go to Greenwich a lot, which takes me a little under two hours.

the PPM meter says TDS EZ on the top and HM Digital on the bottom. in the back it says "Calibrate with NaCl". did you make the hash in your avatar? i haven't seen hash like that in probably over 20 years.

People on here seem to think that light leaks cause hermies, which are bad, so watch out. I would suggest, and am very new myself, to hang one of the new lights you got as this would be best for dispersing all the light. You probably will not need the cfls anymore with that much light, nice...

I grew the bagseed plants in an aerogarden classic with cfls and the ag light until about the second week of flowering, then switched to a 150 watt hps, they are doing well. pics in my signature for you to view. :leaf:

those plants are looking really well, healthy and lush. i'm impressed. i just bid on e-bay for a 400 watt hps air cooled light set up, hope i win it to use to flower my lr2 plants, if they survive lol. keep on doing what you're doing and happy growing:bigjoint:.
