5.5 to 6.5 is what i aim for. are you soil or hydro? depending on the way you are growing you will have to raise the ph by adding water that has either a higher or lower ph than what you have now. so just ph some water, then if its low add ph UP, if its low add ph DOWN and water your plants...

well if you have some spare bagseed that you don't mind experimenting with go ahead and start learning now for next spring. no reason not to germinate a few and see how you do with them. i would go for it, just don't expect any good happy smoke :weed:

if you have some more seeds i would germinate one, get some higher watt compact fluorescents and try again. without miracle grow potting soil. get pro-mix

i built one with pvc too but i ended up going with a dr 80 darkroom. i ended up wasting about $65 on it before just spending the $179 on my darkroom. i love how they keep all the light inside the tent! i hope yours works out good for you though and i can't wait to see pics of your future grows!
