Yup monotubs and mycobuckets are what I use. Eech yea need more beans dude. You don't know anyone in your local area to trade for clones? I am guessing that much at least do to your location note "zero tolerance state" which could mean anywhere in the midwest :P

I normally do one bulk straw grow and the harvests last a year no problem but the straw is just a evil thing to mess with especially pasteurization. That and with straw there is maybe a small second flush but it is a true one flush wonder. So really considering coir with a bit of coffee grounds...

Yea I just bought a bag of FFOF myself on a recomendation that if rinsed thoroughly to rinse any salts it should burn me babies. All my soils I have right now are burning my clones so lets try FFOF :) Best of luck with it!

The only soil from wally world I have ever had luck with was the water retaining coir mix. Lightly organically fortified so less likely to burn but you have to add a LOT of perlite to it for drainage. That and in combination with smart pots plants in coir mix blow up.
