its cool. well ive got two t8 flourescent lights, the special blue emitting ones or whatever, only a couple inches away from my tallest plant and a few feet away from smallest plants. they dont emit a lot of heat, barely any at all actually. idk if its bad to have large spaces in between nodes...

hey buddy i used to work for a company called bonnie plants. its a nation wide vegetable company. you can put any tomatoe in a topsy turvey. just start it from seed then transplant.. or go to the nearest wallmart or homedept and pick up a plant. my tomatoe plants usually were around 3-5 bucks...
