I'd let mine get all the way to about 5 feet. Then again, I'd use at least 6 supplemental cfl bulbs placed strategically near the middle of the plant. Just me though.

Sometimes I follow this guys posts just for the wisdom, lol. Very true though. I did my first grow about 8 months ago, autoflowering and cfls. Now I have 8 plants in a tent, under 1200w of HPS. Even though I enjoyed the first grow, they don't even compare.

To be honest, autoflowers don't really need nutrients. If you want though, I'd MAYBE give them one 1/2 dose of vegging nutes (I'm a foxfarm fan, so "Grow Big") and then a feeding or two at 1/2 strength for flowering nutes. You can get by without feeding them though.

This man knows what he's talking about. I use mainly 6500k with supplemental 2700k for veg, and vice-versa for flower.
