Morning fellow followers of the 400 watt lighting philosophy. This is my second indoor grow, first time making it this far, so I was wondering, what is the highest you like to grow your plants with the limitations of the 400 watter? I ask because my Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk is 29.5 inches now and so far, has grown an inch (or more) everyday since I switched over to 12/12. I only switched it 7 days ago so I have a long time to go and it doesn't look like the plant is slowing down it's vertical stretch. I just dont want them to get so tall that I end up with one whispy cola and a bunch of popcorn. Below is all the details you might need.
Garden Specs
Light is a 400 watt air cooled hps with magnetic ballast and Easycool 6 hood. I have one oscillating fan for circulation and a 3" passive intake vent hole. No Co2. Mylar reflective foil.
Plants are in a mix of one bag each Fox Farms Happy Frog, Miracle Grow Organic and a bag of Miracle Grow perlite. Soil in 3 gallon Growbags. Using R/O water. Water 3x a week, with 6.2 - 6.8 pH'ed fertilizer, usually following a schedule of feed, feed, water water. Temperatures are 63-68 degrees Fahrenheit at night, 68 - 89 degrees F during the day. RH is between as low as 21% to 32%.
