Thanks for the quick feedback fellas. growwwwwww - thats my thinking exactly. the tops are looking awesome and the budsites JUST below the tops look pretty good but there are only a few hairs on the very lower shoots. HPS has the penetrating power i would need to get those lower shoots...

if you're using water straight from the tap a cheap brita or pur filter will help your pH as well as get some of the "junk" out of your res. My brita drops my water pH from 8.7 down to 6.5 (roughly :lol: ) as well removes some of the ppm so that i can replace that with nutrients. Also keeping...

Cut your losses and save the nutrients. Happy to hear about your hydroton and net cups! Don't forget to rinse the rocks THOROUGHLY! just puncture the bag a few times and run water through the bag till it runs clear. That dust will dirty up your res and be a headache later. :peace: Shack
