good point but as explained above the nutes that are in the soil now are not being utlized becuase of his ph problem...this creats salt build up as u keep dumpong unused nutes into the medium...futher promoting the ph problem.. maybe his ph meter is reading acidic because of over nuting creating...

i stnd corrected...but dolomite or hydrated lime is not recommended for small grows in pots...it is mainly used for fields and what not...i have not seen one yet that recommends it for smaller grows...but a small dosage like that sounds a bit much...idk...i go with peat moss as it has worked...
