I had fungus gnats they are pretty much impossible to get rid of. However you will see them flying around for sure. Unless you have strong fans on your plants. They come in with the soil or starter plugs you buy. So yu will keep getting them every time you use whatever it is that brought them in.

You should make sure to cut the hole in to sheetrock not the door. Sheetrock is super simple to repair. I tried a closet grow and I installed a bathroom exhaust fan in the ceiling and I used the wire going to the closet light to wire in the fan up in the attic.

Any ttrimming seems to stunt the plant for much much longer than normal plants. It hates to be topped. And if it gets dry and you wanter it it takes forever to recover. I would recommend not letting it get dry and be very selective about when and what to trim:) Once again I am growing G13...
