i have a guide in one of my books somewhere... its a little graph Soil pH over Water pH If soil pH is X, then water pH Y i'll post it later.. my soil is said to be balanced at 6.5 so if my water passes the drop test and is roughly the proper "color" i go with it... occasionally maybe one drop...

hmmm... my first guess is pH. i remember using FN in my DWC system last run, they have buffers that's supposed to "balance" the pH. i always found it was just a pain. are you checking at all. i check a little now and then, just to see if its close. looks well other than the little burn. :peace...
