oh man you're so lucky getting to grow that much. in the old days nz locals only grew bush sativas, its only been in the last couple of decades that nz has come into contact with indicas. we got a landrace afghani that we have still got now, costed 500 dollars 15 years ago just for that...

yeah you're probably right, matanuska thunderfuck could easily be a strain to grow all year round here if you lived in the right place in nz. do you have any Hawaiian landrace strains?. when do plants flower over there?. cheers

in northland maybe, it gets sub tropical up there but generally no. it gets too cold and dont grow in the winter, iv tried before.

yeah they're getting tall fast. i personally don't like indica's unless its a landrace, sativas are more interesting. if you're growing outside definitely go for malawi or mulanje, malawi looks the most pure in genetics and im pretty sure mulanje is just another phenotype or variant of malawi. have you visited them in the last week or so?. are they going into flowering yet? only my last remaining afghani has gone into flowering last week. my sativas are still in veg. looking forward to updates man, i bet they're huge by now.

they just cant go higher than the fence behind them because of the neighbours. hopefully they go into flowering soon. yeah the grow outrageously fast, luckily i kept them in the bags for awhile otherwise they would be twice the size now. il LST them soon.

Malawi. female looking?. mulanje. just transplanted them today from the bags, they were root bound and were not growing any taller in them. can anyone give me a rough estimation of how high these plants will grow? never dealt with pure sativas before

thanks man. same here, in my opinion untouched sativa genetics should always be grown outdoors. landraces are something else!

you just have to know growers. yeah sativas are always good looking outside

they weather has been great all week. oh yeah thats algood. when do they usually finish up?. it's a pretty nice strain but too indica for me. cant wait to cross it over with one of my african landraces this season, next years killer outdoor strain!. my dad would never let me sell a cutting haha...
