Mine are poking out the bottoms too mate, I'm not really taking it too seriously as you know so I'm going to leave them be. Once the roots become bound in the pot, they'll just stop pushing lower and go round n round. Plus a few poking out the bottom doesn't really mean they're 'root bound'...
