Walmart has 2700k CFL Bulbs on sale for .92 each. I know 6500k are better for vegging but 2700k is better than an incandescent by a loooooooong shot. I did my 1st grow with 2700k before I knew any better and they worked well enough that I never looked to see if I could do better on lighting. kimi

SAME HERE!! My Rocklock is just over 2 inches and is growing her 4th or 5th set of leaves, they are so close I cant tell for sure! My other grows were reaaaaaaaally stretched so they were like 2 feet tall with 6/7 nodes total when they hermied! They looked really good but really sparse too LoL.

Leaving it in darkness is a personal choice thing, from what I personally have read it does nothing for the flowering process really. If your girl wants to flower she is probably not going to feel shocked by you forcing flower... Good Luck!
