thanks for the quick reply. i think i'm going to go with happy frog instead of the ocean forest soil. mainly for the cost, but also because i read the pH of ocean forest runs around 6.3-6.8 that sounds a little high to me. thoughts anyone? :peace: Shack

sugar in the tank?! more than likely was he using unsulphured molasses? i would keep away from that in hydro unless you're doing organics with your nutes already. what happens with molasses (this is in soil) it gets into the root zone and all the beneficial bacteria/microbes living in the soil...
