I'm doing my first soil grow, and I'm planting half my seeds in "organic" MG, and the other half in "Scotts" brand potting soil. Anyways I have no clue what to do for fertilizer or nutes or plant food or w/e it's called. Home depot didn't have a good selection, all they had was topical food...

Really??? planting 2 in. deep is not a good idea. Your plant will be lucky if it can burst through that much soil. Second, Why would potting be a bad idea? I have a feeling you don't know what your talking about.

you can keep your veg period short, like 1 month, then your final product will be about 2 ft. and your yield will be decent. You can even skip the veg, and go right to flower. You'll keep 'em real short that way. You'll only get a few nugs off each plant tho
