actually isnt that much plant decay. This was taken right after the lawn was mowed so some of the grass clippings got in the pot because of the wind but it was "cleaned up".

i am trying more than one seed but i didnt germinate them all at once since this is my first grow i was kind of doing a test, im about to start the other seeds soon.

This is a picture of my plant that is two weeks old today and I'm wondering if anything seems wrong with this plant. Obviously its grown outdoors, I'm using Miracle Gro all natural organic potting soil mix, the stem got a little stretched out after we had about a half week of very cloudy weather...

Ok, I'll probably repost under outdoor growing then. Perhaps it has something to do with the humidity here in florida? Causing it to grow slower or something...idk I'll see what they say in the outdoor grow forum and then update this thread.

These are grown outdoors and the stem is kind of stretched because for about half a week straight we had nothing but cloudy/rainy skies down here so it wasnt getting a steady supply of light and now we are getting cloudless days so it is straightening out. Yes, today should have been the 2 week...

The leaves look fine but the stem is yellow, is this a problem? Still a rather young plant, 2 and a half weeks old at the most. UPDATE: Seems as if the general consensus is that its just a lack of sun light. Problem solved then.

I dont keep it in a shadow, I keep it in a clearing that gets close to the needed 12 hours of sunlight (ideal situation not averaging in the occasional Florida rain etc) and since I don't control the clouds (kind of hard moving vapor in the sky away from my plant) I cant control light being too...

Alright thinks, I'll probably just leave it be then. One follow up question though, I'm still new to growing, what would cause it to become "stretched" so I know how to avoid it for the rest of my seeds?

well im growing outdoors, have some woods out behind my house and nobody lives around me so i found a spot with good sunlight and i cleared out the ground and put some organic potting soil around and mixed it in with some of the regular soil, and thats going to be final location these plants get...

oh, well uhhh yeah thats clever I guess......I've thought of naming my plants.....was going to wait until they were actually in the soil first.

Thanks, im only starting small with six seeds but if they are successful (even if they all happen to be male by some chance) then I'll probably try to grow up from 12-15 seeds or so instead of 6.

to be honest i dont quite understand what you are trying to say.....like are you wanting me to name my seed?

So I've been using the paper towel method on my seeds. I checked on them today and while most of the seeds are just slightly beginning to sprout the tap root, there is one that has spouted its taproot but it is bigger than my index finger and has completely bust out of the seed casing and has...
