Don't know why I named the thread that. Just wanted to let everyone know that my only seedling died this morning. It slowly dried out under my nose. I kept the top of the RW moist, but apperently the insides dried out, along with the roots. It only lasted about a meager week.

Ya, dude deffinate overkill. That light could cover 5x5 area easily. Our spaces are similar, and I'm fine with a 250. I could actually manage just fine with a 175w, don't waste your money on 1000w. And Yes, it would burn your tops for sure, when they grow.

I accidently forgot to check my PH after I added nutes. After the nutes my PH was in the high 4.0, or low 5.0. I know this is a bit low. I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Also, what should I expect within the next 24 hrs. It's only a week old seedling, can it survive so much acid? I...

Ya, this is pretty true. If you wanted to break things down for us, and tell us a little bit about how you want to set up, and your space, and how much you want to grow, then I think we could be more of help. So just break it down.

What kind of setup are you looking for? Do you need lights?

I think that it may kill your plants since they breath out oxygen, if theres too much Co2 we as humans die. So ya...
