im only veggin with cfls. im using 16. 6 23w 6500k, and 10 14w 5500k bulbs on homemade hoods. but i think they are working great. there are some good pics of my setup im my gorw. good luck with your project.

just picked up a used lumatek 600 and socket cord for 150. just gotta order my exhaust fan and a bulb and ill be ready to make some buds outta 3 of my girls.:hump:

i think lumatek are your best bet for a dig ballast. Discount Hydroponics i found they have some good prices.
