haven't really considered nutes.. my first step into outdoor, and i'm more of a proxy here, its actually my brothers grow.. he dug what was going on in the closet and cab, and wanted something outdoor... i'm thinking if we start with compost and rich top soil, nutrients or fertilizers won't be...

i had my doubts at first when he mentioned it.. i was thinking since it is raised and the edges of the soil/compost bed would be exposed that the roots would grow out and dry rot.. but then i realized the compost pile is set up directly on the soil.. so that top layer, where earth meets pile is...

not sure which H2O2 i can get my hands on... probably whatever the strongest OTC at the drug store would be.. haven't seen it at my hydro store yet. i uh...forgot to mention... when i was moving things around... the main node where the two tops branch off... SPLIT! IN HALF!! i used gardening...

yeah that is a VERY good idea.. i hadn't considered that. along these lines, this setup is MUCH more efficient for this particular strain, at only about 2-3 weeks into flower, it appears about 1-2 weeks ahead of the mother they came from. this harvest should be KILLER if i can maintain this...

well i did switch from the organic back to chemical nutrients.. so the roots may be adjusting to the switch. also she stills recovering a little from the recent nutrient burn. pH is steady however, i'm keeping it balanced between 5.6 - 5.9 (fill at 5.9 after about 3-5 days it lowers to 5.6)...

things are looking rough, out of town AGAIN for the weekend, and came home to a pitiful sight.. one girl might be dead, res looked well drained when i got to them.. fresh solution, and a light shelf raise later, she's back on track, not sure if the one will pull through.. pics tomorrow...

topped off the res.. still 12/12 yadda yadda.. one question though, if my ppm spikes say to... 1620... is that a bad thing... does it NEED to be lower? :peace: Shack

well i'm not a soil grower.. so i don't know exactly what the composition yadda yadda yadda... let's just figure this out.. does your soil have any type of time release fertilizer? or have you been fert'ing? :peace: Shack
