Id still go with a 400 watt digital ballast as unless its china made non label your fine as the rf signal came years back when the cord used where cheap and not properly RF shielded not from the ballast. LEDs can not compare so for lower costs, better yield same power usage the digital ballast...

You could do that if your ok with ruining your tent and its purpose. Best thing to do is just grow plants the right size for your tent. Your roughly going to know how tall a plant tops out at by its strain so 2 minutes of thinking and planning you wont even come across this problem.
