    breeding question

Pests on preflowers (probably mites) HELP!

Puts some yellow -sticky -traps at top of pots to catch lil' buggers that fly and spot spray the rest with neem oil. Neem oil stays on foliage for up to a month or until it's washed off so your finished buds should be good to go.

    Started Flowering! When to stretch?

They will naturally stretch 2X to 3X their starting size once they enter floral cycle, usually within first 2 week of cycle's start. I try to flower at 12'' to 18'' so plants only get 36'' to 42'' tall at max. height. It all depends on your grow area size and room height.

I've run across a product in High Times called Fleximix Courier 5. Ballast question

Ballast was getting to hot to handle, needed gloves to touch it. With small fan it barely feels warm. I think it helps the ballast to run more efficiently too. Keep'r Kool o2hustla.

    Ballast question

Older type ballast, they tend to run hot if not ventilated. They can get too hot with no air circulation. I run small fan over ballast to reduce heat during operating hours . They're heavyweights regardless of wattage.

    1st grow, check the pics!

Plants look healthy judging by your pix. I would add smaller oscillating fan to blow on plants and ensure adequate air exchange from grow area. You getting white residue on hydrocoral or container ??

Rocky Mountain High Grow Journal (CFL's exclusively)

Just pinch'm off where they develop but if it's only 1 branch I'd remove it. However, because of the hermaphroditic trait, cutting the branch off may stress the plant to much and it may spontaneously begin producing male flowers on all parts of plant. Better to cull plant than risking...

Rocky Mountain High Grow Journal (CFL's exclusively)

Pix are not focused enough to make out any detail. If hermaphroditic then remove male flowers before they mature and allow female branches to finish floral cycle. Remove any more male flowers as they appear throughout floral cycle.

    1st grow, check the pics!

It looks good but increase ventilation and lower light to within 18''-24'' above plants. Increase air exchange to keep temperatures from spiking, 77*F is good. Have small oscillating fan blowing over plants to cool and strengthen them. What strain you growing ..??

    sprouts are growing weird

Sounds like a good idea to provide better ventilation, it'll help prevent a myriad of problems which can end your grow. Once seedlings develop a couple of sets of 'true leaves ' they become alot hardier and can withstand minor cultivation mistakes.Oscillating fan blowing over supported seedlings...
