Yes---it will do a couple of things---1.raise the soil PH. 2. Buffer the soil. 3. add calcium and magnesium to the soil. Most of Black Gold's potting soils are PH'd to 5 to 5.5---with a look of your plants I would guess your soil to be at 5.1 or 5.2. again-very slight problem.

how old are the plants then?

If it ever becomes a light problem the leafs will fold at margin edges to reduce the surface area in defense. Like shutters closing out the light:lol:.

The freezing question is was for mafia(he posted as pic). As to your problems-----FFOF should'nt be above 7PH---Did you add anything to it?-----How long have the plants been in that soil?

The reason I asked was that a couple of the plants have very minor leaf twist--this is common to low soil PH. Not a big problem or threat but when you get a chance pick up some dolomite lime(garden lime and add 2 teaspoons to each cup--work and water into the soil with your next watering.

Note: After the first feed the plants will droop for a day or so do to the weight of the nutrients and liquid in the leaf matter. This is normal.

They look good--What is the medium their in?

The V shape is a sign of Mg deficiency but it could be that your soil PH is keeping it out of range or that another nutrient is locking out Mg. What is the ph of your medium? What is the PH of your feed water(is it tap?) What is the run-off ph and ppms? This info will help you solve your problem.

what is the medium your in? Have you added nutrients? if so what kind and how much? What is the run-off ph/ppms?.
