I'm on my first grow too and for the most part I just used common sense and the giant database of knowledge out there to get things going. Between the 15 books I checked out from the library and the info online I've done a great job my first time in making big healthy plants.
I've asked some...
thanks guys
I figured they'll be fine. I know people make mistakes like this all the time and freak out, but generally, just put things back on track and they'll go on without a hitch.
I was just using the knowledge base of great guys like ya'll co confirm my decision. More darkness is...
it wasn't off for to long, it was on for to long.
i got a suggestion to leave them off until normal lights on tommorrow at 8pm.
meaning they will get a full 26 hours of darkness.
but to much dark is better than to much light, correct?
as far as controlling hermies, i think that it sounds...
Little problem. My grow journal has more details/
It's 6pm and I just went to check my plants - 2 hours before lights on, and somehow I forgot to turn off my MH light off this morning at 8am when I shut down the rest of the room. My schedule is 12/12 8am to 8pm.
So the temps in there were 86...

It's 6pm and I just went to check my plants - 2 hours before lights on, and somehow I forgot to turn off my MH.
So the temps in there were 86 (everything else was off) and the plants. So they were on for 22 hours.
Now I just switched them off, and I guess I'll leave them...

If you pot is 3gallons you run 9 gallons of water thro it. This helps remove excess salt mainly but some other stuff as well, from your soil. This stuff builds up over time and to much of it can have...
I thought it was ok as long as your lights were fresh on. As in not to hot yet.
It takes my cab about 30 minutes to heat up to 78ish.
Woldn't that hour beforehand be enough for most of the water to absorb and evap?
I've read alot of people spray right at lights on, or lights off.
Is it...
Yah suppossedly a foliar will help to remedy the deficiency fastest, it will provide more mag immediately for faster absorbtion, but less of it.
I will water with it also afterwards.
I'd rep you again, but I can't yet. Thanks for the advice tho.
I was using unfiltered tap water. It is low ppm tap, but tap nonetheless.
I didn't get around to getting the epsom today but they seem to be better since I watered with Hessi and mollasses the other day anyways.
I will remember to get some tomorrow so I can foliar with it and water with it...
