yea dont cut anything off the babies it will only stress em and yea wait for them to get stronger and the days to get longer before heading outside. if your setup can support it wait till the plants are like a foot tall and have a stronger stem

it depends where you are in terms of location... if your talking outdoor. here in hawaii we have short and long season. short is a couple months while long is about twice the length of time anywhere from 4 to 7 months depending on how long you veg for. if you want monsters should start em...

I would not say most people have their starters in 5 gallon pots. I agree with the one month/one gallon rule. I just start them in 6 inch pots or so then move to half gallon then gallon, then 3 or 5 if you start it in a huge pot it can promote root rot and that is not what you want at any time...
