Why would you chop them down if they have already been flowering for 6 weeks. Ive read that the flowering time for purple kush is 8-10 weeks. Atleast wait the 2 extra weeks so you can get some benefit from the 6 weeks they have already been flowering. Maybe you can set up a dif area for veg...
