guys, stop giving misinformation about molasses and get your facts straight.
The roots are unable to absorb (through active transport) carbohydrates and other larger molecules.
Molasses is mostly beneficial in an organic grow where the microherd breakdown the sugars into something the...
don't forget that different phenotypes of the same strain can have different flowering times.
But it's all in the high you're looking for as well. But leaving it to "over-flower" will cause THC degradation pretty quickly. I smoked some Orange Bud before christmas that was over-flowered and it...
I'm not a hydro expert, but i know a lot of folks here buy pH up/down from hydrostores or even aquarium stores.
I personally like to keep it natural so I just use organic white vinegar (without artificial acetic acid) as a pH down. Never had to raise my pH, so...
Also make sure you get an...
exactly. My fan has 2 power settings. I use the lower strength until they're about 7" tall then step it up a notch.
I underestimated the importance of strong stems on this, my first grow. but i've learnt my lesson for next time :)
Good to hear. Planning on picking up the BioBizz line (Root Juice, pre-mix, BioGrow, Fish Mix, Bio Bloom, Top Max, BioHeaven) later this week.
Do keep us updated on how it goes!
i personally have it on 24/7, but it's not too strong to begin with.
Remember to rotate your pots a quarter turn every day or so so that the stems toughen all around.
looks good!
molasses is mostly beneficial in an organic grow where a microherd is present in the soil to break down the molasses. I doubt that roots are able to absorb disaccharides or other complex molecules all on their own.
right on.
And make sure you get the fan directly hitting the stems. I set the fan too high up when I got my clones, and now towards the end of flowering the stems are bending 'cause they can't support all that bud weight.
Thanks bro.
I'm quite impressed with my first grow too :bigjoint:
starting to get impatient though... I bet the first grow always feels the longest eh?
If my local grow shop had that soil in stock, I'd be using it.
But instead i'll just use the same soil mix i'm using and add the BioBizz pre-mix if I can find it, or something similar from Advanced Nutrients.
definitely gonna use the BioBizz line for my next grow, and perhaps Phiranna from Advanced Nutrients.
Found this feeding chart somewhere on this site. Hope it helps!
Sorry but you can't hate on Jorge. If anything he's pretty down to earth. Not a show off at all... And if you had watched his videos carefully your grow would have probably come out looking a lot better. So you can't really call it "mehh".
Yeah there are "newb mistakes", but you can avoid...
