im going to bump the thread in hopes that someone will give this a try....you could air layer the tip of a tall plant from one pot to a other. that way you can feed them veg and bloom. or ive seen a pot that had a divider in it. they feed one side nutes and the other side pure water.

i feed with a B1 a day or two before cutting to help with roots and stress..i still want to giveing them "roots excelurator" and see if it helps?

whats up humbolt14, setup looks good. also really like the outdoor garden...looks like your babys need some IRON/CAL/MAG thats why the tops are yellow..just something you have to have with hydro IMO..
