ya remember, 6500K CFL for seedling and veg stage.. use a soft white or 2700K cfl bulb for flowering/budding. and pray for a female XD

After some careless choices, I bought the correct type of light. This isnt anything special but we'll see how well it works. I got a 10W and 15W (careless thought they were the same but we'll go with it) 6500K daylight CFL producing approx 1800 lumens/sq foot. Leaving lights on 24 hrs...

Ok I got a 15W and a 10 W CFL... theyre both 6500 K. Small, but very bright. I wanted to buy a 60W (or maybe 100W?) CFL 6500K but u need a 3 prong outlet and i dont have that =/ Are these lights too small?

ok ya ijust bought some but im PISSED!!!! I bought a CFL but its a "soft white" and compared to my ultra-white desk lamp.. it looks like an incandescent!!!! should I get a refund?? U can see the diff in light colors! =/

ur soil doesnt look that wet.. The leafs are droopy though.... something isn't right they should be a nice lighter green color and very vigorous looking... Stick your finger as deep as you can in the soil.. see if there is water hanging down there... the soil should be a homogenous mixture...

oh no you can most definitely water until run off-- it neutralizes the soil and removes salt build up (from fertilizing) but def not for a seedling! lol Mature veg stage when the roots are very much strong and expanded you can water until runoff. (got all this from High Times mag)

ya theoretically you could squeeze the sides of the cup on all four sides so that ur plant "pops" up. press down on the surface part of the soil (Only) so that ur roots aren't exposed to sunlight and gets somewhat firm when dry. also when u water, I'd water on the *sides* of the cup so the...

Remember the roots are very important: they need air too! Increase aeration by simply taking ur hand and lifting a good amt of soil and dropping it.. also: the soil should NOT clump when wet-- it should be moist but easily fall apart allowing the roots to grow strong. good luck!!

If you know u didn't over-fertilize then it must either be a water or light problem Did u forget to water in the past resulting in the droopy leafs? Try the finger test and check the aeration and moisture of the soil. that'd be my guess

As you can see, the "true" leafs are rapidly growing while the cotyledon leafs are looking smaller and smaller. The first picture is from 2 days ago; while the 2nd picture was just taken [day 4] I'll keep posting pics!! Thank you to all who are with me on this little project
