I agree that the dips are 100% optional. I've got LOTS of clones with nothing but rockwool, water, a stem, and a heating pad. I find the butric acid dips like clonex do help to make the roots more profuse when they do drop. I see no benefit day 1-7. Day 7-14 there is a bonus. But again...

    DoeEyed's Perpetual Grow Log

NL and Chronic are VERY common commercial strains. If you've bough sensi street weed in the last 20 years you've smoked em both. Chronic is C1 (bigbud) genetics. Both are very easy to grow. Big piney colas.

    Lucas Formula

I've used it for years now. In reality it is a little light on Nitrogen but gets by on most strains. Soil or hydro? I'm making the switch to dynagro.

Ordered some dynagro today too. Grow and Bloom. Woot. I may look into their 2 additives as well. Mag-pro and Pro-tek(silica)

The advantage so far is no pre-soaking. Make up you cloning water (tap with superthrive) and dip the cube to moisten. I like being able to squeeze the water out of my cubes, too. Can't squeeze wool without crushing the vital air pockets. Getting wool to the right moisture level used to me...

1-4-2 will likely be ok after wk 4 or so of stretch. Be careful with P as too much will antagonize uptake of Mg and N. 10-30-20 sounds like an awesome bloom fert but more N would be beneficial in veg. I'm in no way saying "fancy nutes". A simple 20-20-20 will do ya just fine. As long as there...

Glad to see you got your defs work out, Danny. You may have lots a few lowers but they will be fine. Veg plants are very forgiving. Looking good. Vegging that long will pay off in the end. I'm trying the new sure-to-grow cloning cubes instead of rockwool. I'll let you all know how it goes. I...

10-30-20 is a shitty grow fertilizer. Good for bloom after the stretch but WAY too little Nitrogen for healthy growth. Don't fuss about PH in soil. Its a great buffer and if you added some hydrated lime U r good. 3-1-2 for Grow 1-3-2 for Bloom after stretch Dynagro

I put in 35% at 2ml/L of rez every 4-5 days. So for my 50 gallons of nute solution I use 400ml. I could probably get away with a bit less.

I get very little build up with floranova nutes and a simple cleanse with H202 and water once a cycle keeps things nice and clean. PBP is terrible about sludge. What a nightmare that would be in this system. I would definitely consider changing your nute line. Organic hydro is mess soup, bro. As...

You can't flush a plant like a radiator. There is no botanical evidence that it does anything at all. Taste is about trim, dry, and cure. I use H202 and I recommend anyone using base mineral nutes (non-organic) use it. It works better than anything else I've tried at keeping pathogens and nasty...

Swinging around the light cycle will cause hermies. :hump: Going hermie is the plants natural reaction to what it perceives as an inhospitable environment for normal breeding. Think about it. In nature, if the dark cycle gets long enough it induces the reproductive cycle of the plant. It's time...

    Nasty's 1000w 6 plant Hydro Grow! Pics n' updates!

Clones should be done under low intensity lighting. The HID is counter-productive as the plant wants to grow rather than set root. 24 hr light under a single cfl will do the job.
