make sure water is ph 6.5 clean water no, let it stand 24 hrs if itd not straight from spring.. i think your ph is wrong.. thats why your leaves are sick.. u can buy cheap ph testers. i veg at 24/0, i find they grow faster so u will use less power..

left pic looking good. well if there are little hairs and little balls it more than likely a hermi - sorry. u could remove the balls and keep a very close eye on it, or what id do is plant that hermi outdoors somewhere so will will still get some bud.. what strain u growin?
