    My 164 Watt CFL Grow

Well on one plant its way to early to tell, I guess I can estimate a bare minimum on the budding that's already taking place, like 3/4 ounce? Remember that's a bare minimum. That's on the tall one that's taking forvever. The LST plant has way less growth shoots, but the cola's are way fatter...

    My 164 Watt CFL Grow

I have 4 40 watt bulbs on two plants. One is a sativa that I LST trained, and the other is a mostly sativa which was topped twice.

    My 164 Watt CFL Grow

They grew MUCH faster when I started flowering. All of my plants were between 6 and 10 inches when I went into flower, now one is about 18 inches and the other about 14 inches, maybe even a little taller. It really is true plants double in size when you put them into flower. All of the...

    My 164 Watt CFL Grow

Have another pic update for everyone. The first three are tops of top colas, and the last three are bud shots of the topped plant. The latter is FINALLY starting to fill in, and looking pretty crystalline at that. Notice the odd side growth on the LST's buds. It almost looks like little buds...

    My 164 Watt CFL Grow

Thank you sir, I am really surprised at the quality of genetics found in this bagseed. The odd thing is the other plant is from the same bagseed, so it should be the same strain, but look at the difference. One is greener, and filling out much faster. Also, the LST sativa smells entirely...

    My 164 Watt CFL Grow

Got the day off so a pic update is in order. These are pictures mostly of the LST sativa, she seems further along so she's much more fun to look at. There is one pic of both plants in the box though, take a look at how much that other plant has grown out. I am somewhat worried about the...

    Rockwool no Hydroponics?

I really hate to pull out the Wikipedia quote but... "Passive subirrigation Main article: Passive hydroponics Passive subirrigation, also known as passive hydroponics or semi-hydroponics, is a method where plants are grown in an inert porous medium that transports water and fertilizer to...

    Rockwool no Hydroponics?

Don't call me a queen dude, I hate guys like that who start shit, they really get me in the flesh. The guy obviously posted on the subject after the point was made. I apologized for it and this guy can't let it go. But my ranting is over, I will not give him any more attention don't worry...

    Rockwool no Hydroponics?

K I read the first page again and you know what I found? KNOWBODDY SAID IT FIRST DUDE, MAYBE YOU SHOULD READ THE FIRST PAGE! God are you nuts? As I've already stated many times, I already apologized to knowboddy, he was the one that I disagreed with, NOT YOU. You just chimed in after he...

    Rockwool no Hydroponics?

By the way, no you didn't, knowboddy said it first, so make sure you are really the one who posted first before you try to take credit.

    Rockwool no Hydroponics?

so you water rockwool 1 to 2 times a day? THATS MORE OFTEN THAN SOIL REQUIRES, IT MUST DRY OUT FASTER HUH? Oh and I have seen many threads on here of people who use "passive hydroponics", so whether it sucks or not I do not know, never done it myself, but people definately use it WITH SUCCESS...

    First Time Box Building

What you need are small 12 volt pc cooling fans, then find an old cell phone charger that reads 120 V AC input and 12V DC output, then wire the positive and ground wires together. All you have to do then is plug in the cell phone charger to power the fan. voila.

first grow - why won't it grow anymore??!

WOW. Stolen soil, window sill light, and no knowledge of what nutrients even are? Now this is what I call growing ghetto.

    My 164 Watt CFL Grow

I am actually leaning towards the coif direction for my next grow, funny you mention it. There is this stuff made by Roots Organic that is basically a soil replacement. Its fortified with organic ferts and mycro whatever its called which prevents lockout. Its not too expensive either. What...

    My 164 Watt CFL Grow

Well if it works for you then rock the fuck out. I on the other hand had an awful experience with their soil, it almost killed 2 of my plants. For my next grow I'm going to choose a soil that will actually aid my plants, not hinder them. I will also continue to tell everyone MG is crap...

    Rockwool no Hydroponics?

are these hydro nutes you guys are talking about organic? if they are then I have to say that this guy must be crazy. I used shultz all purpose for a while and my plants started showing Mg deficiency, and the growth was slow. When I switched to the Pure Blend Pro, I noticed a difference over...

    Rockwool no Hydroponics?

Yeah every day or maybe a couple times should do ya. Or you could try setting them in shallow water and it will wick the water up itself.

    Rockwool no Hydroponics?

This is going to sound stupid, but soil uses water too, just delivered by hand. So why isn't soil hydroponics? The only difference is the growing media, and I don't get why soil is all by itself and rockwool, coco coif, and all that other hydro stuff is all referred to as hydro, just because...

    Rockwool no Hydroponics?

I already apologized and corrected myself further down the first page, I'm only doing it once. Plus those variations in the way the water is used is pretty f-ing significant don't you think?

    My 164 Watt CFL Grow

Well I guess I have no experience with the Moisture Control stuff. Anything that says continuous feed though, stay away. The whole point of growing indoors is to try and re-create the outdoor environment, when do plants outside receive 3 months worth of nutes in about a week? I know they're...
