i moved it to 1 ft, this bulb gets pretty hot (its keeps my closet and whole room at a avg 80F in 65F weather) I use a HPS 250w.

I changed my water and solution. It has discoloured more. Motoracer110 mentioned that miracle grow 20-20-20 doesn't have enough Nitrogen. Well I also added 1/4 cup fresh urine/gal. And luckily, urine, while it needs to be diluted and possibly causes oders, it is a free N booster in my eyes. NPK...
