Sadly during Flowering, My Fat Banana was just starting Week 7. Bud rot hit parts of the most dense colas. Gave her an early chop to stop any spores spreading to my other ladies and gave the Tent a full scrub down. It's very rainy and humid here in the UK at the moment.

    It's a Sad Mouldy Day

Yeah, its definitely bud rot, I dont know why I always call it mould. Bloody horrible stuff anyway. I've checked through the plant and it's affected other parts unfortunately, mainly the more dense parts of the colas. I'd like to push her for another couple weeks, but its prob safer to just take...

Long Time Grower, First Time Grow/Flower Journal

Quick Update Folks, it's a very sad day as I'm likely to be taking down the Banana a little earlier than expected as I found bud rot in one of the main colas this morning. I could just chop away the affected area, but the worry is that mould spores from the Banana will spread to my other ladies...

    ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS Purple queen

Thanks very much, appreciate the compliment. In all Fairness the Banana has been really easy to grow and the speed at which she's flowering is amazing. I liked the sound of the Wedding Gelato too, I think I'll grab some of those and the Hulkberry in a couple of weeks as a Birthday present to...

Here are the Pics of the Cuttings Before and After their Final Trim. Pics 1 and 2 are the Banana and Pics 3 and 4 are the Gelato. I trim off a lot of the lower growth as this will help to increase air flow, light penetration and the plant to concentrate it's energy on the top buds, although we...

    ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS Purple queen

Sadly Canada is a very long way for me to travel for some Cuttings, lol, but I really appreciated the offer. I wish the UK laws were different so we could do Cutting swaps here, but sadly it's very Underground so we're all very secretive. Definitely going to give the Hulkberrys a run though...

Zskittles photo organic live soil grow

I really like the idea of just watering from Start to End, that would save massive amounts of time not having to keep mixing different nutrient feeds. Plus I'm guessing you'd save cash too not having to buy liquid feeds. Those ladies look great, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the...

Hi Jcooll, really interested to see how your grow goes. Zkittlez is a fave of mine and I'd like to see how the Sohum living soil works for you. I'm in the UK and have been looking in to it, but the price has put me off a bit as its a bit more expensive than the average soil. It's also really...

First homemade grow box, plants started drooping

Hey Bro, when you start the Biobizz nutes try starting out with half strength feeds and then move up strength depending on how your plants react. I've used Biobizz nutes for many years and even though they're Organic they can still burn a plant. I've got a Green Gelato in an 11l pot in soil...
