yeah what he ^^ said...i just got a t5 8 bulb 54w HO fixter, and they work very well for mums/cuttings..i was useing shop lights but trashed them when i got the new lights..i have 3 mums in 1 gal bags/ez cloner 60/ 2x2 ebb&flow all under the T5's and im only useing half the bulbs!!!

welcome to RIU..u NEED a PH and PPM meter for sure,or else ur just wasteing ur time and money, i think ur going to need a bit more light (how much u trying to grow?)..keep in mind a 400watt covers a 2x2 area for flowering, u should grow out ur 10 seeds (useing the 400watt) and pick the best...

a 1000watter covers a 4x4 area and a 600watter covers a 3x3...so like my man smokey says u can go with 2 1000watter OR u can put 3 600watters in there..i use 2 600s in a 4x4 tent..u just need good air flow. good luck.
