This is my plan for the summer. This is a 104 gallon collapsible/ portable rain water barrel. It even has a 3/4" hose adapter on the bottom and a fine mesh lid to accept water but keep out bugs etc... So with my plots being on a southern facing mountainside this barrel will be placed and filled...

Thats cool. I had mine out the first week of June last year but i totally believe an earlier start was within grasp. Im roughly SE in the state so things usually heat up here a bit more quickly. But hey if cindode mayo rolls around and its too cold it wont hurt me to wait.
