Lucas/GH is an awesome basic nutrient system. Cheap and easy. Works pretty damn well too. I am adding koolbloom this round by bottle directions just to see the difference. :joint: I am a firm believer in environment over nutrient. :hump::hump: As long as the base nute gives everything the plant...

FF nutes do not have enough mg in it, imho. I love the FFOF soil, though. I use FF GrowBig as a veg nute but i have to supplement epsom. As far as the texture it is a lot thinner than the GH Flora series I am using. lol. I'm looking at the new humbolt oneness. I like 1 part base nutes. I'm in...

    My First Coco Grow!

So far so good. :hump: My 2 cents: I would strip off the lower 30-50% of the growth to force huge cola.

True Lucas formula has no additives and I am using KoolBloom. That being said I am a big fan of Lucas. I use tap water. My tap is about 75ppm so it is pretty good. It surprises me to hear that you get mg def using GH 3 part. There is plenty of cal/mg in there. My guess is you have some PH...

Day 16 74-84F 30% RH 3ml/gal FloraNovaBloom + 10ml/gal KoolBloom + 2 drops/gal Superthrive + PH UP to 6.5 = 900PPM @ .5  Looks high but most of it is PK. 1 gallon feed per plant, per week. I've supercropped about 10 shoots and have a pretty even canopy. I have about 12" of light...

THat is just the breaks outdoors, bro. Nothing to be done but keep an eye on it and treat for any bugs you find. There are oils/sprays (google Zero Tolerance spray) you can put on to repel some pests. I can;t vouch for their effectiveness though. Never used them myself. You can put up a...

Yes. Outdoor plants grow bigger and yield more. That being said there is a whole host of new problems outdoor. Watch for pests, excess rain, thieves, and rouge pollen.

I personally do not like PBP. Irks me that you have to suppliment Cal/Mag to get any mg at all. That being said, it should work fine if you already have some BPB base and Cal/Mag + whatever. Hempy PH flux is just like Hydro. Because it is hydro, escentailly. Hand-watered hydro.

Yes. It helps promote an even canopy for good light absorption. I supercrop anything that gets taller than the rest of my tops. Break its neck and bend it over. It likes it.

Humidity is by far the most over-rated factor in cloning. Root temp and moisture along with a scored stem are the most important pieces of the puzzle. I use RW cubes with regular tap water, no gels or powders, scored the stem when cloning, place in tray on heatpad ... Bang...5 day roots. 100%...

Yep, I had extras and he had bagseed genes. Jake is a cool guy. Too bad he has moved on to other sites. Let's hope so :hump: Yep, there's (wait for it....) DIRT in there. Layer of hydroton is about 1/2" thick to help keep the top few inches of soil from drying out so fast. My RH is 25...

Newb Closet Coco Grow, 400w MH+HPS

It's all about copying what you have seen. Do what we do you will get what we get. There is no magic to it. The plant really does all the work and it pretty hard to fuck up as long as you follow the basic environmental guidelines. Good luck. Sorry 4 the jack MJ
