Wait for good roots though. You should see lots of roots filling the bottom of the cube. Usually 10-14 days is the right conditions. Hempys are slow to start so begin in a small container like a solo cup.
Don't rinse it. Just break it up a LITTLE BIT and drop it in the perlite. If there is any stretch to your seedlings you can bury the stem up to the bottom node.

Sup Jake? Dolomite lime is a great PH modifier. I've seen soil mixes that require no additional nutes through the whole cycle. Just water. In that mix lime is used for PH balancing.
