BackYard Boogie: Wild Bud Plant: 4 lb. Grow

If you have the means to, i would take a clone from it to sex it. Theres nothing worse than putting months and months of effort into training and growing a plant just to find its a male...

Harvested 6" Purple O.G. Kush plants!!! PICS!!!

Why would you waste 2 months doing that? I'm not saying they're not cool or dank or whatever, but that seems like such a waste of time, effort, and money...

    horizontal grow?

I would use 6" square pots. That gives you enough room for roots and for the plants. You don't want to veg them for too long if from clone: just 1 week to root, and 1 week to veg. I wouldn't recommend doing it from seed, because you have to veg them for longer and half will end up to be males.

    horizontal grow?

Yeah, i know what it is. You can do that if you chose, but i prefer SOG because of the turn around time and constant harvest. I don't know about you, but when i have a lot of bud, i tend to smoke it REALLY fast, faster than i should. But when i have the same amount of bud, just spread out over a...

    horizontal grow?

Just another resource for you: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=88449 And to prove 30" is ample height: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=1662297&postcount=36

    horizontal grow?

I would divide it into a 20"x30"x30" veg area, and a 40"x30"x30" flower area. Vegetative plants require less space and light than do flowering plants, plus you need more room so you can have more plants flowering at a time.

    horizontal grow?

The only bad thing about the idea is the fact that most plants have hormones that dictate their growth. Although phototropism would in theory allow you to grow in any direction, gravitropism dictates that plants grow against gravity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phototropism...

    horizontal grow?

30" is PLENTY of height. I once grew in a 12"x6"x12" space and got about half an ounce. 4' T-5's would be perfect for that area, for even distribution and cool temperatures. Pick an indica dominant strain, and flower at about a foot or less. If you can, I would divide that space into a flower...

*** OG x GDP PLANT OUTDOOR***

That doesn't sound like it would be a good outdoor strain. Although they are both VERY potent, GDP is a slow grower and OG kush is a poor yielder. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you might be better with another strain.

    My soil mix

My mixing process and those lists are VERY approximate. I made the compost bin a looong time ago, and it took 2 joints and some stoner recall just to remember WHAT i put in, let alone how much of it.

Almost arrested growing! 3 Cop cars surrounded me!

First, you need to find another place to take them. That's your first priority. Then, rent a van/truck, something that's not yours. Have your move be well planned (who moves what where, stuff like that). Wait until 2-3am and go in with a mask, gloves, ill-fitting shoes with duct tape on the...

    My soil mix

Yeah, the second list is the stuff i put in the compost bin. The first list is the soil mix. Notice the amount of compost in the recipe is roughly an eighth of the total volume.

    My soil mix

Ohsogreen, you're ohsoAWESOME! Thanks for the help! But when I posted this, I just transplanted my seedlings (in jiffy pucks) into Dixie cups with peat moss, some EWC, and perlite, so they're not in that soil yet. I was gonna transplant into it in about 2 weeks.
