it looks like it has a lot of clay in it I would put some perlight in it the plant looks almost over watered and it is probably not getting very much air in the roots.

This is so true, I am a big believe of bending or scrog grows I dont like cuting any leaves off only is they are dead. Some people like to remove leaves to let more light in but by removing leaves they have removed the solar panels and its pretty counterproductive in the end.

Also I would just get to the point where I would lift my pots a little and I could tell immediately if they needed or didn't need to be water, there is a dramatic weight difference just always lift them and over time you will be a pro.
