Your light needs to be WAYYYY closer to your plant. How big is the room you're growing in? You'll need a lot more lights, get some 42w CFLs. Are you only growing one plant? Sorry for all the questions lol

That sounds about right--i remember reading something, but i couldn't quite remember the exact number. i saw some blue and red CFLs, i'm thinking about getting some of those too. i think they're only about 15 watts or so, but is it blue = good for veg and red = good for flowering?

haha yeah, it's the crappy pic quality due to the lack of lights. Too, the white makes everything kind of blend together. ;)

The height is actually about 5.5 feet. Even where they are now, towards the back, it's about 3' in height. Hard to tell from the pic, but i can stand up straight in the front, and i'm 5'4".

Haha, no doubt. i planted mine when they looked like that, and now i have 3 lovely sprouts. i germed 5, and 4 of them took off, planted them, and 3 survived and are now looking nice and healthy. Plant the taproot down and cover the whole seed with soil. That's what i did, and it worked for me.

Got em at Home Depot, 15 bucks CDN each. Found them on the aisle with all the lighting equipment and whatnot. They come with reflectors as well, but they wouldn't fit in my freezer (hahaha), and it is so reflective in there anyway, i thought i'd store them til i move them upstairs. Handy things.

LOL do whatcha gotta do. i'd advise to keep whatever lights you do have as close to the plant as possible once it's sprouted. CFLs don't get that hot, i was able to hold one of mine in my hand for almost a full minute without it burning me, and they've been on 24/7 for the past 10 days.

Yup, i checked it out, and left ya a note. ;) Good luck with your grow. Mine germed in the paper towel and had long ass taproot showing almost the very next day. i'm too impatient to wait for them to germ in the soil lol

There you are! ;) You should check out the 42 watt CFLs, they put out about 2800 lumes each, and shine as bright as a 150 watter. i got mine at Home Depot for about 12 bucks each. i'm in Canada, though, so they may be cheaper in the states.

i'm not really sure how big i'll grow them--i'd really like to have a good harvest, if it's possible. There aren't really any time constraints on me, so i'll see how it goes. :) Hahah, yeah, i think a lot of people were confused about the freezer, lol. For the record--it's not plugged in hahah...
